Lindsay Lohan has been granted a restraining order against an obsessed fan who left her ‘constantly looking over her shoulder’.
Daniel Voderwulbecke, 37, was banned from approaching or trying to contact Ms Lohan despite being formally cleared of stalking the star after she failed to give evidence against him.
The Mean Girls star was bombared with thousands of social media messages by the 'obsessed' fan, the court heard.
District Judge Tan Ikram said that his ‘obsession’ with the Mean Girls actress was at the heart of the case after he was convicted of harassing a manager at the Chiltern Firehouse, a celebrity haunt frequented by Ms Lohan.
Voderwulbecke bombarded the manager, Lauren Pearce, with rants about his 'wife' Lohan, as well as threats of revenge after being barred from the establishment.
The German DJ - who has previous convictions for violence in his native country - was also found guilty of criminal damage after kicking down a staff door at the back of the hotel and restaurant.
He was also convicted of smashing a cigarette bin outside the Playhouse Theatre in central London, where Lohan, 28, was performing.
