Green tea face scrub: Green tea is not only great for your health; it also makes for a wonderful scrub. Take two teaspoons of green tea; add one teaspoon of sugar and one teaspoon of honey. This scrub will remove dead skin and keep it hydrated, especially during summers.
Lemon and Sugar scrub: It is one of the best ways to peel dead skin and blackheads. Take a cup of granulated sugar and add one teaspoon of lemon juice to it. Add six tablespoons of almond oil to the same and use it as a body scrub. Keep it on for a while. Then scrub and wash off.
Coffee face scrub: Besides removing the dead skin, it adds moisture to your skin, making it soft and smooth. Take one fourth cup of ground coffee and sugar and mix them together. Add two teaspoons of virgin olive oil and three vitamin E capsules. Apply on your face and scrub away.
Sugar face scrub: Take half a cup of sugar (brown or white) and add to it one fourth cup of olive or coconut oil. Mix it well and use one teaspoon at a time, every time you sit down for a face scrub. It’s a sure-fire way to get silk-smooth skin.
Vanilla and Lavender body scrub: Mix together two cups of sugar, one cup of grapeseed oil, one teaspoon of vanilla extract and 12 drops of lavender essential oils together. Store it in a jar; it will last for about a week. Use it thrice a week for that natural glow and to get rid of those nasty blackheads.
Gram flour: Mix some gram flour with rose water and scrub it on your face for about twenty minutes. You will see an instant difference.
Egg white scrub: Mix egg white with two tablespoons of honey. Then apply it on your face and wash when the scrub has dried. Repeat the process thrice a week and watch the blackheads disappear.
Yogurt and oats scrub: Mix yogurt with some oats and apply on the face. Scrub your face for three minutes and leave the pack on for a while. Then wash your face with lukewarm water and then cold water.
Peppermint face scrub: Take half a cup of coconut oil, add one and a half cup of sugar and a tablespoon of peppermint extract to it. Mix well and wait for the oil to be absorbed. There will be residues of the peppermint crystals. The after effect of the scrub is definitely amazing.
Tomato face scrub: Take two tablespoons of tomato juice and add half a teaspoon of sugar to it. Scrub your face with this mixture for about three to four minutes and then leave it till it dries. Then wash it off.
