A man has been arrested after crashing a stolen car into a terminal building at Gold Coast Airport.
Australian Federal Police apprehended the man, which took place on Saturday afternoon.
A witness said the man had driven along a footpath for several hundred metres before crashing into the building.

The car crashed to a stop in the domestic terminal of the airport, and the area was then taped off by police.
'Police had him on the ground in handcuffs,' Matthew Jestrimski told ABC.The airport says it remains open despite the 'security incident', but has warned of delays in the passenger pickup zone in front of the terminal.
Queensland Police said the man, believed to be in his 20s, was allegedly part of a carjacking shortly before 11:30am.
