The man who murdered his estranged wife with fishing knives after deciding she was having an affair has been jailed for at least 22 years.
Christopher Cullen, 51, gave no response in the NSW Supreme Court on Thursday as he was sentenced to 30 years for his 'ferocious and sustained attack' on Victoria Comrie Cullen following the breakdown of their marriage.
A friend seated in the public gallery of the court burst into tears as the killer was led from the room.

Ms Comrie's battered body was found by a passer-by near the Taren Point fishing club, in Sydney's south, on January 22 last year.
The 39-year-old had a broken nose, bruised eyes and 18 sharp force injuries, including two neck wounds that had cut down to her vertebrae.
Justice Harrison on Thursday described in chilling detail how Cullen had followed Ms Comrie's car into a garage at her Sutherland apartment building on the morning of the murder, broke her nose and bundled her into the boot of his Hyundai.
He then drove her to the waterfront, leaving her trapped in his boot as he went to purchase the fishing knives with which he would fatally slash her throat and body.
